The ergotec EG ACTIVE FLEX combines a large, ergonomically shaped hand rest with adjustable damping. By replacing the damping insert, known as the FLEX STICK, the firmness of the hand rest can be adjusted. The green FLEX STICK is softer and provides a higher level of damping. The red FLEX STICK is firmer, offers less damping and can provide a more direct riding feel. The large hand rest can help distribute pressure across a wider area. The EG ACTIVE FLEX is manufactured in Germany. The grip material used has a tested antibacterial property. This material characteristic is particularly relevant for bicycles that are regularly used by different people, for example in rental applications.
