M-Bar 31,8

The ergotec M-BAR is a 700 mm-wide aluminium handlebar for trekking and mountain bikes. Made from AL 6061 T6 aluminium with a black sandblasted finish, it combines a distinctive shape with a sporty, comfort-oriented design. A key feature of the M-BAR is its neutral-axis geometry: the grip sections and the centre of the handlebar clamp are positioned along the same reference axis. This means the pronounced grip angle does not shorten the effective handlebar width. The shape can therefore support an appropriately aligned hand position while retaining the full width of the handlebar. The M-BAR is rated at ergotec Safety Level 6. It is approved for a total system weight of up to 180 kg on city and trekking bikes and up to 160 kg on mountain bikes. The total system weight includes the bicycle, rider and luggage.
