The special shape positions the grip areas and the handlebar clamp along the same neutral axis. This preserves the effective handlebar length despite the ergonomically angled grip areas. The handlebar is designed for city and trekking bikes and is manufactured in Germany from Micro Alloy Steel (MAS). It is rated at ergotec Safety Level 4 and is available in chrome, black and an aluminium-look finish. If required, the handlebar can be shortened by up to 100 mm. Selection and use should follow the ergotec Safety Level table and the relevant installation and safety instructions.
