The ergotec EP Cargo Pedal is designed to meet the demanding requirements of transport and cargo bikes – both in commercial use and for intensive everyday riding. It combines a robust construction, durable materials and an ergonomically refined design.
The reinforced 9 mm steel axle provides a high level of stability and load-bearing capacity. As a result, the pedal remains reliable even under regular, demanding use. The concave tread surface supports a comfortable foot position and enables efficient power transfer. Internal guide rails help prevent contact between the shoe and the crank arm. A diamond-patterned surface with integrated pins ensures secure grip. It improves traction and reduces the risk of slipping – even with frequent mounting and dismounting.
The EP Cargo Pedal has been tested at the ergotec Test Centre and is approved for a maximum rider weight of 180 kg.
