The ergotec SP-3.0 is rated at ergotec Safety Level 2 and approved for use on city and trekking bikes. It is made from AL 6061 T6 aluminium and is available with a black sandblasted finish. The 25.4 and 27.2 mm diameters are also available in silver. The steel spring and 40 mm of travel can help absorb shocks and vibrations on uneven surfaces and support riding comfort. The standard spring is designed for a rider weight of 60 to 80 kg. For the 27.2, 30.9 and 31.6 mm diameters, optional springs are available for rider weight ranges of 40 to 60 kg and 80 to 100 kg.View accessories. The SP-3.0 is designed for saddle rails with a diameter of 7 mm and seat tube angles greater than 70°. In addition to the 25.4 and 27.2 mm diameters, it is also available in 30.9 and 31.6 mm. With a suitably sized seat tube, this can eliminate the need for an additional seatpost shim.
