The ergotec SP-4.0 is designed for use on city and trekking bikes. It is made from AL 6061 T6 aluminium and is rated at ergotec Safety Level 4. The seatpost has a diameter of 27.2 mm, a length of 350 mm and a black sandblasted finish. The steel spring system provides 47 mm of travel and is designed for a rider weight of 80 to 120 kg. The suspension can help absorb shocks and vibrations on uneven surfaces and support riding comfort. The SP-4.0 has a 15 mm offset and a stack height of 95 mm. It is designed for saddle rails with a diameter of 7 mm and seat tube angles greater than 70°.
