Sporty Ahead stem for MTB and e-MTB The ergotec BASS is an Ahead stem designed for sporty MTB and e-MTB setups. It is made from AL 6061 T6 aluminium, features a 31.8 mm handlebar clamp diameter and is rated at ergotec Safety Level 6+. The 0° angle supports a sporty cockpit setup, while the black sandblasted finish emphasises the stem’s clean design. In accordance with the current Safety Level 6+ classification, the BASS is designed for a total system weight of up to 160 kg, including the bicycle, rider and luggage. It therefore combines a compact design with a load rating suited to sporty applications. Installation and safety information: The stem must not be combined with a carbon steerer tube or carbon handlebar. Such a combination can result in a risk of breakage.
