The ergotec UP & DOWN TURN is a height and rotational adjustment system for compatible Ahead stems. The handlebar height and rotational position can be adjusted independently and without tools. For transport or space-saving storage, the handlebar can be rotated by 90°. The system can be installed on compatible 1⅛-inch aluminium or steel steerer tubes and does not require any additional machining of the steerer tube. This means the system can also be removed again at a later date. The stem is not included. The UP & DOWN TURN is made from AL 7075 T6 and AL 6061 T6 aluminium. Depending on the version, the height adjustment range is 70 to 190 mm or 70 to 220 mm. The versions also differ in Safety Level rating and weight: the shorter version is rated at ergotec Safety Level 5 and weighs approximately 450 g, while the longer version is rated at ergotec Safety Level 4 and weighs approximately 475 g.
