Raised and flexibly adjustable handlebar position The ergotec OCTOPUS 50 XL 31.8 is an angle-adjustable Ahead stem made from 3D-forged AL 6061 T6 aluminium. The four-bolt handlebar clamp is designed for handlebars with a 31.8 mm clamp diameter. The 50 mm rise supports a higher handlebar position. The adjustment range from 0° to +60° allows the cockpit position to be further adapted to the desired riding position. The stem is available with extensions of 85 and 115 mm. Rated at ergotec Safety Level 5, the OCTOPUS 50 XL is approved for the applications and total system weights specified for this rating. It has a black sandblasted finish. Installation and safety information: The stem must not be combined with a carbon steerer tube or carbon handlebar. Such a combination can result in a risk of breakage.
