The ergotec OCTOPUS XL is a 3D-forged quill stem made from AL 6061 T6 aluminium. The four-bolt handlebar clamp is designed for handlebars with a 31.8 mm clamp diameter. The angle can be adjusted from −20° to +40°, allowing the handlebar position to be adapted as required. The stem has a 100 mm extension and a quill length of 180 mm. It is designed for a steerer tube diameter of 25.4 mm. The OCTOPUS XL is rated at ergotec Safety Level 5. Installation and safety information: The stem must not be combined with a carbon handlebar. Such a combination can result in a risk of breakage.
