Short extension for a closer handlebar position The ergotec OCTOPUS 2 AHEAD 50 31.8 is an angle-adjustable Ahead stem with a short 60 mm extension. This positions the handlebar closer to the rider and can support a more upright riding position. The 50 mm rise and stem angle, adjustable from 0° to +60°, allow the cockpit position to be further adapted. The stem is made from AL 6061 T6 aluminium, features a 31.8 mm handlebar clamp diameter and is rated at ergotec Safety Level 4. It has a black sandblasted finish. Installation and safety information: The stem must not be combined with a carbon steerer tube or carbon handlebar. Such a combination can result in a risk of breakage.
