The ergotec SEPIA AHEAD 50 XL 31.8 is an angle-adjustable Ahead stem made from AL 6061 T6 aluminium. Its raised design and adjustment range from 0° to +60° allow the handlebar position to be adapted individually. Depending on the setting, the stem can support a higher handlebar position and therefore a more upright riding position. The actual riding position also depends on the frame geometry, the handlebar used and the individual setup. The stem’s design is tailored to modern bicycle and cockpit styling. It features a 31.8 mm handlebar clamp diameter, a black sandblasted finish and is rated at ergotec Safety Level 5. It is available with extensions of 70, 90 and 110 mm. Installation and safety information: The stem must not be combined with a carbon steerer tube or carbon handlebar. Such a combination can result in a risk of breakage.
