The ergotec CAT 2 is a quill stem made from a combination of steel and AL 356 T6 aluminium. The two-bolt handlebar clamp is designed for handlebars with a 25.4 mm clamp diameter. The stem is rated at ergotec Safety Level 2. The 35° angle and 40 mm extension support a higher handlebar position. The CAT 2 is available for steerer tube diameters of 22.2 or 25.4 mm. Installation and safety information: The stem must not be combined with a carbon handlebar. Such a combination can result in a risk of breakage.
