The ergotec CAT 2 Tube is a quill stem made from stainless steel and AL 356 T6 aluminium. The two-bolt handlebar clamp is designed for handlebars with a 25.4 mm clamp diameter. The stem is rated at ergotec Safety Level 2. Depending on the version, the quill is 230 or 300 mm long, allowing a correspondingly high cockpit position within the permitted adjustment range. The stem has a 35° angle and a 40 mm extension. Versions for steerer tube diameters of 22.2 and 25.4 mm are available. Installation and safety information: The stem must not be combined with a carbon handlebar. Such a combination can result in a risk of breakage.
