Variable positioning with flip-flop installation The ergotec PIRANHA 2 31.8 is a 3D-forged aluminium Ahead stem with a four-bolt handlebar clamp. The clamp is designed for handlebars with a 31.8 mm clamp diameter. Thanks to its flip-flop design, the stem can be installed at an angle of +6° or −6°. This allows the cockpit position to be raised or lowered slightly, depending on the preferred setup. The stem is available with extensions of 80, 100 and 120 mm. The PIRANHA 2 is made from AL 6061 T6 aluminium, has a black sandblasted finish and is rated at ergotec Safety Level 6. On the 100 and 120 mm versions, an optional faceplate allows a compatible headlight to be mounted on the front of the stem. >>Stem accessories Installation and safety information: The stem must not be combined with a carbon steerer tube or carbon handlebar.
